GdW Bundesverband deutscher Wohnungs- und Immobilienunternehmen e.V (GDW) (Federal Association of German Housing and Real Estate Companies)

GdW is the Federal German Housing and Real Estate Organisation of all German housing co-operatives, municipal and public housing associations and private housing companies  It is the biggest nationwide umbrella organization for housing.  It has a three-tier structure and the housing organizations are represented to GdW by their respective regional federations.

GdW and its regional federations share the work of advocacy, legal, financial and technical advices to housing co-operatives, research, training and communication at the federal and regional levels.
