On October 5, CHI held a General Assembly to fill three expiring terms. This was followed by a Board of Directors’ meeting. During the Assembly members were briefed on the financials, the proposed 2024 work plan, and budget. An election was also held, and three incumbents were re-elected for another four-year term. Mike Duru from the Zimbabwe Association of Housing Co-operatives (ZINAHCO), Datuk Mohamad Ali Hasan from ANGKASA in Malaysia, and Blase Lambert from the Confederation of Co-operative Housing in the UK will continue to serve as board members at large and CHI’s treasurer, respectively. Our common goal of promoting the cooperative housing model globally unites us, and we look forward to working together.
