Tim Ross – Executive Director of the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada. CHF Canada is a national membership association of housing co-operatives, representing over one thousand members, and home to over a quarter of a million people.

Tim is a nationally recognized leader in the Canadian community and cooperative housing sector, having realized nearly one billion dollars of reinvestment into the Canadian cooperative housing sector.  He serves as the founding President of the Community Housing Transformation Centre, and a director on several boards, including Encasa Financial, and the Community Housing Management Network. CHF Canada has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers in the National Capital Region for three consecutive years under his leadership.

In 2020, Tim was appointed to the first-ever National Housing Council by Ahmed Hussen, the federal Minister of Families, Children and Social Development.  The National Housing Council’s mandate is to advance Canadian housing policy by providing advice to the Minister of Housing. He resides in the Ottawa region with his partner and is expecting a newborn this spring.

Linda Seaborn – Senior Policy Adviser – Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals (BCCM) in Australia. The BCCM is the peak body for cooperatives and mutuals in Australia.

Linda lives in a housing co-operative (www.cohousing.coop) and has been part of the cooperative sector for over twenty years. She is of Anglo descent and lives in lutruwita (Tasmania) on the land of the palawa people. Linda also has a background in working with industry on regional workforce development and working in health and community services, most recently with Aboriginal community-controlled services. She has post-graduate qualifications in management, data analysis and communications.

Tom Ivey – Community Development Manager, DotCoop Enterprises DotCoop is the registry for .coop and .creditunion domains

Tom joined DotCoop Enterprises in 2016 after gaining experience in varied roles, ranging from entertainment solutions to corporate banking. Joining the cooperative movement felt like “coming home” for Tom. Since then, he has worked with organizations across the whole spectrum of the cooperative economy, working to raise the profile of coops publicly as well as maximizing their economic potential. Tom is a strong believer in harnessing the power of the virtual world to propel the cooperative business model to the forefront.
